Great fun, big lesson.

This motion picture manages to deliver a large lesson for it's audience, that lesson delivering to a great impact that leaves a mark for sure. The film has an interesting plot. A boy moves to this new town, and unremarkably doesn't fit in. Finding his hazard to finally win over what he's always wanted - to fit in, he resorts to faking, he must, now, do what information technology takes to continue it that style. I felt as if the lesson, overall that ties in with the plot was powerful, a well lesson to evangelize. The film manages to evangelize said lesson in a fun, unique way that surely entertains the audition. I personally thought this picture would be just some other Nickelodeon trash film, simply was wrong, pleasantly surprised. The film, equally it continues manages to win the audience over with charming characters, who of which's actors deliver smoothen, and succeed in strong emphasis toward their characters. The movie's moral, or lesson, once again, delivered strongly. Simply at the same time in a fun, clean mode. This film was watched out of boredom. And it surprised me. I'd recommend this whenever it pops up once again. It's entertaining, and has a squeamish charm. It has succeeded in it'south moral, and over all sense of uniqueness!

Well, it could have been worse...

I had not heard well-nigh this 2015 movie from writer Adrian Vina and manager Vince Marcello before now in 2020 when I was given the chance to sit down and spotter it.

As the movie was labeled as a one-act, I decided to sit downwardly and scout it, and besides because I hadn't seen it before. And now that I have finished the movie, I must say that the movie is watchable, sure, merely hardly an overly enjoyable picture. Sure, it was a pseudo-fun approach every bit a spoof on "Twilight", but the movie just wasn't crammed with enough pranks, jokes and general fun to accept me entertained. Plus, the fact that it was a Nickelodeon motion-picture show, meant that it was aimed at a somewhat younger audience.

I volition say that the acting performances in the motion picture were actually quite good. Certain, the characters and the script was a chip off for my age, merely I will say that the actors and actresses did actually fare quite well.

All in all, "Liar, Liar, Vampire" scores a five out of ten stars rating from me. I am sure that there is a larger audience out in that location for this blazon of film. I only wasn't actually in the target audition.

The New Kid on the Block Just Trying to Fit In

Due to his mother'south career occupation a teenager by the name of "Davis Pell" (Rahart Adams) finds himself constantly moving locations and having to nourish new schools every bit a issue. Then information technology becomes a matter of class when he is uprooted from Australia and has to enroll in a new loftier school in America. Naturally, since this is a new school, he wonders whether he will exist able to fit in with the residuum of the students there. Surprisingly, when the most popular girl in school, "Caitlyn Crisp" (Tiera Skovbe) immediately becomes attracted to him because she thinks he's a vampire, he immediately becomes quite pop as well. Having accepted this role somewhat reluctantly, he now has to figure out ways to proceed up the charade and for that reason he turns to his adjacent-door-neighbor "Vi" (Brec Bassinger) for advice. What he doesn't realize, nevertheless, is that in that location is one student past the name of "Bon" (Ty Wood) who is not at all happy with the new kid on the block stealing Caitlyn'southward time and attention away from him and he is prepared to do whatever it takes to put Davis back in his place. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this was a cute family unit picture that contained a couple of laughs here and there and as well managed to laissez passer the time fairly well. Admittedly, the plot was fairly predictable and it was a rather short picture (simply 69 minutes) likewise. But still, I enjoyed this movie for the nigh part and I have rated it accordingly. Average.

I liked it!

Liar, Liar, Vampire is a fun Nickelodeon motion picture! The acting is great and feels genuine. Rahart is fantastic every bit the lead along with Brec Bassinger. I enjoyed their chemistry. Yes, the movie is goofy at moments, but it just makes the movie better! I loved how they played off of Twilight yet made it their ain.

A not bad picture!

silly Nickelodeon picture show

Davis Pell (Rahart Adams) is the new kid in school. His mom's work keeps moving them around the world. His neighbour and Twilight fan Vi (Brec Bassinger) sees correct through his dorkiness. School reporter Caitlyn Crisp (Tiera Skovbye) is the queen bee. She needs something fresh for her reports. Afterwards a mirror confusion and a few other incidents, she makes the supposition that he's a vampire. With Vi'south assist and Caitlyn's reports, he makes the whole schoolhouse believe.

Information technology's a dizzy little Nickelodeon pic. It'southward cute. Information technology's interesting to see early Stargirl although she may exist playing the same historic period for a decade. That's fine. Many actors accept done the aforementioned. The office does scream for a nerdy bespectacled ugly duckling. Information technology'due south a perfect opportunity for a makeover transformation scene but cutie Brec Bassinger never needed that in this one. The concept is fun plenty for the first half but information technology eventually runs out of steam. The whole form is too stupid. 6 is smart but the rest are too eager to buy into the idea. This is fine for a silly teen TV movie.

Ok merely missed a trick

Warning: Spoilers

This motion picture has some good letters, just I think it missed a play a trick on past not having i member of the cast being a vampire. I recall it would take been more fun if the last scene outed i person to the audiance. Proverb that maybe that may have been a scrap scary for younger children.

The large lesson? Kids are stupid!

Alert: Spoilers

Sometimes, for whatever reasons, a picture comes forth so dumbed down that it bares no resemblance to whatsoever kind of reality. Such is the case for "Liar, Liar, Vampire," in which a bunch of stupid loftier schoolhouse girls (and I do mean depression intelligence, lack of common sense, cocky-centered, short-sighted and vapid vixens - all enamored of the "Twilight" volume and film serial) purport themselves equally a agglomeration of necrophiliac wannabes when they mistake new-kid-in-town Davis Pell ("pelvis?") for a vampire. Smarter-than-others neighbor girl Vi - a malcontent and potential agitator - decides to assist Davis feed into the pupil body mass insanity by giving him vampire lessons to continue duping their shallow classmates and (somehow) disrupt the current social order by Davis becoming popular. Stereotypical impaired-as-bricks football jocks (cliches all effectually) retaliate by hiring a clearly pretentious nincompoop vampire hunter to kill Davis. As Davis' ruse becomes known, he turns from school glory to pariah, with the lead vapid daughter developing a cyber bullying campaign against him to boost her own Internet popularity. A side character named Ashton suddenly develops a scrap of a encephalon (for no reason other than needs of the plot) to support Davis in bringing down the school'south queen bee via a public humiliation. (Supposedly, public humiliations are what kids do and respect.)

With the statement that teenagers don't KNOW themselves in order to Be themselves, the film presents a atomic number 82 character operating at the whims of other, with no functioning moral or ethical compass of his own - wearing an embarrassingly ugly and far undersized sweater at his mom'due south insistence, following the student body's hunger for a vampire in their midst, blindly becoming a willing tool of a neighbour for social disorder (who remains untouched by the consequences), then post-obit directives from a known enemy classmate to bring about a public humiliation.

For a film whose best aim seems to be in but presenting something to mesmerize toddlers, the simply lesson to be gleaned from all this is that teenagers (or fans of the Twilight series) are stupid, grossly stupid, stupid to the cadre, but capable of a commonage mentality and, yes once more, stupid. (As a possible but other lesson would exist that having a fantasy life can requite yous mad martial art skills, every bit demonstrated by the lead grapheme's nearly schizophrenic imaginary ninja battles, which past the motion picture's stop appear to grant him fully adult martial art skills.)

Cast doesn't look bad simply would similar to approximate their abilities on working from a script that has SOME meat on its bones.

Kind of cute ...

I approximate I'thou way older than this ones intended audience, and thus I didn't really await much from information technology. Simply ...

The story isn't very deep even if I suppose many kids in their early teens tin can recognize the wish to exist popular and the fright of beingness revealed every bit not equally cool equally they managed to make others believe they are. To the remainder of united states it'southward silly. Even a chip stupid, only with some sugar on top. Truckloads of carbohydrate really.

Despite this, and despite Liar, Liar, Vampire being predictable and cliche it has something. I didn't expect to like it but I did. In all it's silliness it is quite fun.

Acting is skillful. Not just the leads, only the supporting cast too. Dizzy simply fun.

If you are young at heart (or just a scrap kittenish) you might enjoy Liar, Liar, Vampire as much as I did.

Not worth your time

Alert: Spoilers

I am a huge fan of Rahart Adams which was my main reason for watching this moving picture. To call information technology sub-par would exist inaccurate, it was truly awful. Spoiler: a romance appears between the picture's 2 main characters. This romance followed the basic "friends-turn-relationship" guidelines but was both cheesy and unsatisfying. There is a major flaw in the main graphic symbol Davis. He begins as "dork" of sorts simply seems to lose nearly all of his "dorkiness" in a moment's notice without whatsoever valid reason. Equally for the other characters all but Caitlyn seem to be reasonably believable. The theme the movie attempts to convey is to be yourself. However, the movies fails to develop the main grapheme far enough to show his credence of himself. In fact, the concluding sequences of the movie prove nearly the unabridged school every bit being phony. I was terribly disappointed with this film and volition not be watching it again.

Gym Teacher Is Not Funny

& Swindle Is Forgettable.

then this came out and me and my blood brother watched the film and we hated it with a burning passion.

information technology'southward not funny and the characters are complete retards cause they think the principal character is a vampire.

even when they do find out they blame him, but they should arraign themselves cause the teenagers are then retarded that they retrieve they are better, even though they are stupid.

they references to twilight are a joke but they are making fun and so i judge that's good.

but Liar, Liar, Vampire Is Nada But A Joke. Due To The Crappy Live Action Nick Stuff, I Lookout The Cartoons On Nick Crusade Even Though They Are Childish, The Are 100% Ameliorate Than This Piece Of Crap.

Nick Has Inverse Way To Much That They Are Then Desperate From Telling Silento To Practice The Patrick Dance to Making Twilight Jokes.
